Earlier today, a large group of men gathered in Heritage Park, downtown Barrie.  Some were bearded, others covered in tattoos, and some...  Well, some wore dresses.  Traffic stopped and drivers honked their horns for the spectacle that was Walk A Mile In Her Shoes.  In it's second year, the event was heavily attended by the men who were brave enough to "walk the walk", and the women who were there to support us... Occasionally putting a quick end to our complaining!  Not only was this walk filled with laughter and camaraderie, it also helped to raise some much needed money for the Women And Children's Shelter of Barrie.  For more information on this wonderful organization, click here.

Oh, and for those of you with a keen eye: yes, I did trade my big "Rihanna stilettos" for a more sensible pair of high heeled shoes...  I'm a working single father of a puppy now, you know!
