Although they haven't had a full length studio release since 2008's Day & Age, The Killers remain one of my favourite bands. And as much as I've enjoyed the solo projects from each member of the group, I'm most definitely ready for another 45 minutes and 39 seconds of pure awesomeness from these guys. (In case you're wondering, that's the length of their 2004 debut album Hot Fuss!) Anyway, it doesn't look like we'll be getting that any time soon so at least we can rely on them to provide us with a little festive cheer! Thanks Santa! For the past 5 years The Killers have recorded a new Christmas song, with all proceeds going to (RED). What I love most about this, aside from the fact they help to raise money for a great organization, is that they are always original songs; no covers of Jingle Bells here! This year, our holiday treat is a song called Cowboys' Christmas Ball, which you can check out below. I've also posted the other Christmas tracks underneath it in case you haven't heard them. Which is YOUR favourite?!
Cowboys' Christmas Ball (2011)
Boots (2010)
¡Happy Birthday Guadalupe! (2009)
Joseph, Better You Than Me (2008)
Don't Shoot Me Santa (2007)
A Great Big Sled (2006)
