400 SOUTHBOUND RE-OPENED

The OPP report a garbage truck caught fire early Monday morning in the southbound lanes of the 400 between highways 88 and 89.  Fire crews decided the truck's load needed to be dumped to put the fire out property.  They moved the vehicle, albeit very slowly to the commuter parking lot at highway 88 where the contents were to be dumped out and extinguished. The southbound lanes finally re-opened shortly after 8 a.m.
