HUGE DEBRIS FALLS FROM SKY

A Severn Township man probably thought he was seeing things after something fell from the sky and landed in his yard. The man, who lives on Upper Big Chute Road, called police after what he described as a white piece of debris shaped like a hot water tank, about 10 feet long had fallen and landed in his yard and was stuck 2 feet into the ground. An investigation revealed the piece of debris was actually a piece of equipment designed to measure climate change and probably fell from an airplane. Luckily it landed in the man’s yard….  it could have been a lot worse.
