CONVIENCE STORE ROBBERY

A south end convenience store robbed at knifepoint last night. Barrie Police say the man entered the Essa Road Store. Pulled out a knife and demanded cash. The clerk handed over an undisclosed amount of cash and the thief took off in an unknown direction. The canine unit was called in but could not locate the suspect who is described as white, 35 to 45 years old, 5’7 thin build with black hair dressed in black clothing with a scarf over his face. Call police if you have any information
