Progress is being made in the York Region Transit dispute. Viva bus drivers have voted in favour of a new contract yesterday, while Miller Transit workers have also reached a tentative agreement. Some bus service is expected to resume on February 4th and riders will be getting at least one month free service on all routes. The transit strikes began October 24th, affecting over 40-thousand commuters.
