Ideas are circulating about the future of the Allandale Train Station. The City has been consulting with real estate agencies and developers on the best use for the downtown train station buildings. At last night’s council meeting, a number of ideas were floated around including: boutiques, restaurants and ice cream shops. City Council also got the vacant buildings insured, which buys it more time to decide what to do with them. The public is expected to have its say on the project this Spring.
